sco/wen,

I assure you, your comment that covers both TSC and CSC is not well received, and is a very offensive comment to long suffering TSC people.

Just because you were lucky enough to get into a service center with a "very light work load" please do not De-mean, people stuck for 6-8 months, at a place processing the same paper work you are talking about!

This is the exact reason I asked TSC not to comment, I have received 10 replies and only two of them are helpful, I wanted useful advice not people telling me how long they are waiting at TSC. I feel bad for them but it does not concern me.

So thanks for your comment , it was very useful.

I hope people are all trying to help but as we have seen several times from you they are not or can not.

I advise people to not bother nor waste time on this subject due to the perception by the O P of those efforts. There is no perfect answer anyway and he isn't aware of the damage done nor the associated pain caused.

Let me explain this to you. I am hoping for replies from people that have a JULY or AUGUST NOA1 from CSC, I would like to know if there are other people waiting as I am at CSC. I am think I am the only one. Why do people insist on commenting about something that does not concern them?

One more thing to add. There is another thread titled the same as mine. I went there to get advice. Out of 50+ posts, 42 of them are from TSC, that is why I ask that they not comment. I don't wish to spend 2 hours reading posts and checking their Service Centers only to find out they are TSC and are commenting on CSC for no reason.

Let me explain this to you again.

I assure you there are many other people waiting for action by CSC. USCIS is dealing with about 2.5 million cases. Yours is just one which is of no more importance to them so their level of concern about you is minimal at best. If they knew you considered them as liars it would be even less I suppose. You could always contact them to let them know. Call of set Info Pass so you cant tell them in person.

One more thing to add.

I think people understand you are only concerned about your situation and that doesn't concern anyone which is why you haven't gotten the response you seek although some of us have tried to help you understand.

Read what you want. Ignore the rest that doesn't interest you just as others do which again is one reason you have so few responses. Members may have found they wasted time just as you did.

Is there a way for me to delete this topic and start a new one?. I would like to start a new one and include TSC. Obviously I went about things the wrong way the first time.

You don't really need to do that if you would just stop the abrasive nature of the comments.

CSC, TSC or XYZ it doesn't matter. Your problem is that you don't understand why you haven't gotten the NOA 2 yet. You feel its taken too long. You feel your case has been lost , set aside, ignored or something along those lines. You don't want to know about TSC because you don't think that affects your case. It does in a way but you don't have the experience to understand why that could be.

The service centers assign cases to each officer. A supervisor checks to see how they are progressing on their case load. Its is impossible to know why your particular case seems to be lagging behind others.

In my own case my husband returned to the USA TWICE to sit down with USCIS in person to discuss this very subject. This occurred in two States in three different offices. He asked a U S Senator to help. In the end the Senators office staff person of 20 years experience knew less about our case than my husband. Our case seemed to be lost because even USCIS said they couldn't explain why they couldn't find it nor what was going on with the case. At no time during all of that did we feel anyone as lying or in a conspiracy against us. My husband wrote 9 letters to USCIS at their request. Not one was acknowledged nor responded to. Our NOA 2 took 8 months. That ALL occurred at CSC.

You have been waiting a couple of months. Its seems to me that USCIS in general has been moving much faster than when we went thru. Your NOA 2 could come at any time now. I have seen some K 1 cases for example move at light speed thru the system including CSC. One recent case went so fast the member said they couldn't get ready for the interview within the few weeks it took. Your experience is different so far.

I hope you realize there are holidays in both this and next month. That is going to affect your case. Try to spend your time being ready for whats to come and not on worrying about what is really just normal timing of the case path.

If you want all of this deleted simply find the report button at the bottom of the post page and ask a mod to do so. I suggest letting people function as they think they need to then disregard what you don't think matters. That includes what I have tried to help you with which is based on at least 6 years of experience and many cases in that time.

Thanks for the info

It's not having to wait that is bothering me. I actually just returned from China and was planning on going back over American New Years. My concern is that something is wrong with my case and maybe I don't know it. The USCIS website has been not working for a while now and when i call them they tell me a different line every time. I am hoping to hear from someone in my exact situation. I am hoping I have just had bad luck and my case happens to be one of the last August cases not looked at yet.

If there is something wrong with the case you will know it when they send an RFE. That is really not as bad as it seems because it shows you an officer is working on the case.

You aren't having bad luck. You are just another one of the millions of cases. Its that simple. Don't make it something its not. The web site you want to rely on is never up to speed because they just don't update it as we want them to.
