I arrive here in usa for CR1 visa i been here for a week im waiting for my green card to be delivered at home but until now its still not here my question is how many days do i need to wait for my green card? And we went to the social security to apply but they said that my social security will be delivered at home i dont need to go to the social security office.

Timeline

Will probably take between one to two months for the GC to arrive. Before then the stamped visa in the passport acts as a temporary GC.

Im confused about it coz my friend arrive here last sept.25 then after a week she said she got a packet in there mail box she think it is her GC but its her social security card and there another instruction that they need to pay again for the green card but she said she paid the $165 before she left Philippines.im confused why they need to pay again?

08-02-2017- NOA

08-05-2017- Biometrics scheduled for 09-04-2017 at Charlotte

08-22-2017- Biometrics - Completed

08-22-2017- Interview Scheduled' status update (in-line)

10-18-2017- Interview was Scheduled' status update in myUSCIS

10-19-2017- Status updated in Online account and Interview pdf available 

11-27-2017- Interview Date (Approved)

11-30-2017- Oath Ceremony ( I am US Citizen Now :jest:)
