It is kind of a crass way of referring to an immigrant group, I suppose, but the Danes call most foreigners except like the CABA and neighboring countries "immigrants" and they mean it in a bad way. If you are white you'll get referred to by your country of origin, but if you look like you are from MENA, you are just "Muslim".
