Guess what, guess man? The one and only GFI outlet in the affected area needed to be reset. I then flipped the breaker, and everything came back on. Whee, man!

Well, the only other GFI that had ever tripped did it only the once, see man.

Our electrical, mechanical, and other work-with-hands skills skipped a generation big-time, sigh man. Papa T-B. was an academician who could have also been the world's best auto mechanic, Renaissance man. He could do absolutely anything -- electrical, plumbing, carpentry, all man.

And Mini-B.'s motor skills exceeded ours when he was only Many (2x2x2+2+2) months old, wee man. He will be either a mechanical engineer or (on the basis of his earlier fondness for opening and closing doors) a doorman at a hotel, get lucrative tips man.
