1- what? you must work for Trophie!

2- Salt is alkaline.....(Sodium Bicarbonate)

Salt is NaCl sodium chloride. Sodium Bicarbonate is an alkali, not a salt. Salts can be formed by mixing alkali and acid, resulting in a pH neutral salt. What you never had a basic chemistry class?

my preferred coffee is brewed in a percolator. None of this drip stuff that uses a filter that needs to be thrown away. I even enjoy a little bit of grounds at the bottom of my cup.

what do you guys call $ 1 dollar bills locally?

Here in NYC, it's called a "Single"

call them a single here too.

What does my ex and a dollar bill have in common? They'll both always be single.

I wanna know, do you really think you can save the friggin trees by driving a Subaru? That ad campaign sure know how to sucker tree huggers....

whadaya think kills the germs when you gargle with salt water? huh? your good looks?

By increasing the specific gravity in the fluids outside of cells, the fluids inside the cell will pass through the semipermeable membrane known as the cell wall. A cell which has had its fluids reduced is less effective in carrying on the cells chemical functions, making it weaker and easier to kill by the bodies natural defenses. Some bacteria thrive in alkali environments, some thrive in acidic environments, and some thrive in neutral environments, but all need an internal specific gravity of their internal fluids that is equal to seawater. So introducing an alkali or an acid might hurt some germs, but they'll cause others to flourish. But all germs are hurt by a large change in specific gravity of the fluids outside them.

My hubs often wants one cup of coffee before work in the morning and it's a hassle to make a pot.
So Keurig K-cup works best.

If I want a fast single cup, I'll just nuke some water and thrown in instant coffee. Or have a tea.
