I would say fresh lemon is gonna be better than any packaged product. I further go and say someone caring about you enough to got through the work of making this helps the lift a person's mood, making them feel better to. But I guess someone running to the store to buy the product might have a similar effect.

When I've gotten a cough, my wife has put a fresh lemon juice from a full squeezed lemon in warm water and added honey. She used brown sugar when we've been out of honey. the warm lemon water has really helped calm the cough and clear congestion up. One of those a night has done wonders for me when I've gotten a chest cold.

I actually had to take a tiny sip of honey mead a few times this month when the coughing and the soreness just got out of control. It really quieted down the cough.

true enough. But that product works really good. I'm sure it has several other ingredients in it. such as salt. Salt as we all know, soothes the throat (Chicken soup). And is also somewhat of an antiseptic. As bacterial don't tend to like an alkaline environment.....

I think most of us have Thursday off. I really really need a vacation. I haven't taken one in three years now. So looking forward to March.

Oh and salt doesn't make things alkali. Salt is neutral in pH. But it does help in that in changes the specific gravity of the fluids lining our throats, causing the cell walls of bacteria to let too much moisture out, and die or be weakened by the lack of fluid in the cell. *end Professor mode*

Aaah, so the ###### hole of New Haven is apparently not the only one with this problem.

that technology has spread to many cities. You get poor people in density and gun violence can become a problem. But the trouble in Minneapolis is nothing compared to New Haven. Although a number of years ago they started calling it Murderapolis as gang violence was getting pretty bad. Since then they've gotten back to more traditional levels of violence.

Here, and it has in it Lime, and orange rinds. It's really good. 1 heaping tablespoon. I bet you can find it there.

That is way better than the constant stream of ones I'd get while going to school in New Haven.... it would be like "girl was pulled into a car this morning and sexually assaulted by several men", "50th time this year a student was held up at knife/gun point". Super safe. You know it is a classy place when the city has installed "gunfire microphones" that send an automatic message to the police every time a gun is fired out on the streets.
