i make cot covers. every kid in daycare has to have one. they don't have a long life, typically, because the stuff sold in retail stores is poorly made like you wouldn't believe.

i also made a few custom elsa dresses for halloween.

i love shopping on etsy too...lots of beautiful handmade stuff there!

Wish I needed a cot cover. I would totally buy them!

I am writing this morning not to scare individuals but to share recent news information and ask everyone to be on high alert when coming and going from your cars and office buildings.

Apparently, over the past 10 months (since Feb 23), with the most recent happening late Saturday noc, there have been 3 attempted sexual assaults in the Maplewood and North St. Paul area. (The story is in today’s Star Tribune – Metro section, page B5.)

In each instance, a man enters the passenger side of vehicles driven by women and brandishes a gun. He then orders the women to drive to a remote location, orders them to undress and then he masturbates, apologizes, and then walks away.

The suspect in Saturday’s incident is described as a white or light-skinned male, about 30-50 years old, with a thin build. He was wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt and pants, and a dark-colored ski mask with a white stripe. Maplewood police suspect the individual may live in the area.

PLEASE make certain to lock your cars and make certain to thoroughly scan your environment when walking to and from your car or office building. If possible, walk with another colleague and make certain you are both safely in your vehicles or buildings before departing. If you see anyone suspicious, please call the Maplewood police immediately and then notify your supervisor.

That is way better than the constant stream of ones I'd get while going to school in New Haven.... it would be like "girl was pulled into a car this morning and sexually assaulted by several men", "50th time this year a student was held up at knife/gun point". Super safe. You know it is a classy place when the city has installed "gunfire microphones" that send an automatic message to the police every time a gun is fired out on the streets.

I've tried honey with the little Tornado for coughing it seemed to help. Also does he have a stuffy or runny nose? If so benadryl or allergy meds and saline spray will clear it/break it up and help with the coughing that could be post nasal drip. That stuff can be given to little ones. Does he have a humidifier in the room?

When I've gotten a cough, my wife has put a fresh lemon juice from a full squeezed lemon in warm water and added honey. She used brown sugar when we've been out of honey. the warm lemon water has really helped calm the cough and clear congestion up. One of those a night has done wonders for me when I've gotten a chest cold.
