Thanksgiving Dinner is still in the planning stage. The celebration at our house will be on Saturday, as we'll be at friends on Thursday.

So far we have

Ham per my request as I'm not a turkey fan

kinilaw because whats a celebration dinner without raw fish and cucumbers soaked in vinegar?

potatoes, wife is making so I've no idea how they will be prepaired

yams, again wife is making so in some Filipino style

mango float, a Filipino desert using real mangoes

pansit, gotta have noodles

apple pie, again by my request because its an American tradition

adobo, can't have a feast without this

bico, another Filipino desert, sticky and sweet with a consistency like gummy bears

More foods will be added to this list as the week goes on, even adding things on Saturday.

You guys were chatty over the weekend, 20 some pages I need to make up. I'm not sure its going to happen, does someone have the Cliff notes version?

And that I can't understand...

What's the point of making so much food and then throwing half of it away?

That isn't something that we do, so I'm not sure. Plus, when we had a dog, the dog got a lot of the leftovers.

you guys ever notice that if you eat 2 pieces of banana nut bread, and then you drink orange juice, then the orange juice tastes real sour?

Nope, guess I should try it out sometime. But that means I need to make banana nut bread when I have orange juice around.

We will do the typical TG foods

Turkey

Stuffing

Mash potatoes (yummy)

Green bean casserole (yukky)

Sweet potato casserole (yukky)

Carrots (them I like)

Giblet gravy (the yukkiest)

Plain old turkey gravy for the kids and I

Hawaiian Sweet rolls

Apple, blueberry, cherry, pumpkin, pecan pies

Well that is supper anyways.

We start our eating about brunch time and food is served all day and night

Veggie, cheese, meat trays.

Crackers, chips and dip

Deserts cookies, and all kinds of other treats

Hawaiian sweet rolls

Way too much food!!!

Pilgrims no eat turkeys on thanksgiving. They ate venison and fowl. They also did not include the women. I think I can adjust traditions a bit and forgo the turkey while keeping the women.

Trophie stop whipping the immigrant, unless he likes it then whip him harder.

Niki stop being maldita, or I'll have to send my wife over to teach you how to really drive Aliban nuts

Dark go get yourself a piece of ash, you'll feel better after

Tark why you delete good joke posts? Pretty soon Stretch is gonna seem like the nice mod.

Get a dog asap.

I'm part Native, maybe we don't really like Thanksgiving given what the white man did to us?

Drink orange juice right after brushing your teeth goes together well also.

I always have banana nut bread with tea or coffee.

Trophie stop whipping the immigrant, unless he likes it then whip him harder.

Only very rarely does he like me being a switch.

Get a dog asap.

Don't want to walk it in the cold. Guinea pigs are enough work.

Again with my reading skills - I even looked at my mother's itinerary yesterday and still thought she was coming in on Wednesday. Her flight comes in on Tuesday. D'oh. If she hadn't called yesterday, I wouldn't have known.

So my child support money is officially in a black hole and never coming out. CT is all like our statement doesn't say he owes anything so even though CA paid us the money we can't give it to you.
