Sponges are gross, they are ceaspools of bacteria, she is doing you a favour.

We have a 'good' sponge and 'evil' sponge system after many arguments over him using the lovely clean dish sponge to scrape black gunge off the grill and then just returning it to the sink.

So the good sponge is the nice new dish sponge at the side of the sink which I replace very regularly (once a week ish) but when I am done with one they get assigned to the evil sponge pile under the sink which he gets to use for whatever as long as I don't have to look at them, clean them or smell them.

It is 14.5 pounds, so hopefully it'll be defrosted by then or I guess I'll be running water over it.

14 lbs take 2 days to defrost

That's the smallest turkey in the history of mankind. Some squabs are bigger than that.....

Well, there will only be the 4 of us and the 3 of us are easily satisfied with tons of leftover meat from a small turkey breast. Plus we'll have mash and stuffing, veggies and dessert. That is more than enough food.

planning on buying a 12lb turkey which is what I got last year tomorrow. Combined with the ham it should be plenty big enough. I"ll stuff it before we leave on Sat.

Hubs and I made up. He said I'm pretty much the only person in the world who will deal with him, even when he's being mean and I call him on it when he is. Doesn't mean it doesn't hurt my feelings, but when he's being an a-hole, I tell him so.
