REI, Menards, Target?

REI is OK

Menards is good for some things

Target - for the most part, this is the worst retailer out there. It might be ok if you're a woman, but as far as what a man might want its horrible. My wife didn't understand why I didn't like Target, then she decided she's buy me a shirt there one day. After looking in the men's department for two minutes she looked at me and said, this is all they have? No wonder you don't shop here.

yes, last night.

may be go up again for a shorter trip in the next couple weeks

1- Target had the My Size Elsa for the kiddo, so it's a good store.

2- Not a lot. there was a dusting last Friday, as of last night when I left, there was no snow. But brutally cold at elevation 1600 ft.

I think Ali is living down at Brit's Pub and leaving Whacko behind.

Poor Wacko....

From what I can tell, we're now dealing with the "I have had such a close-knit group of friends for forever and now I don't and now you're doing something all the time and even though I have American friends I am still not as happy as I would have been" etc etc situation.

Sound familiar?

Adjustment woes. Takes time, and then a bit more time, and finally some more time, at least until its time again.

My wife first got here, she thought Target was the greatest place because they had Missimo brand, which she loved in the Philippines. They she discovered Missimo brand is really just cheap quality generic clothing. We rarely enter a Target store now.

1 So you went to Target and found the My Size Elsa yourself? What else do you buy there?

2 1600 ft is nothing for elevation. What a New Yorker calls brutally cold, a Minnesotan calls a nice day out.
