What do you get a 12 year old girl for Christmas?

A 3 year old boy.

A 2 year old boy.

A 1 year old boy.

1) depends on the girl. Gift certificate for clothes (from like Justice), or crafts, gift certificate for books (or find out what books they want from parents.)

2) hot wheels, vtech (switch and go dino, DC comic, transformers... all down the same aisles at stores, thomas the tank etc...)

3) duplo, fisher price

4) fisher price toys, b.dot toys,

Kiddo is 11 and wanted over the ear headphones, clothes, a sewing machine, and crafts.

12 year old girls do vary widely. Books were always a hit, as in adult books not teen orientated ones. At 12 I probably was more into J Crew Abercrombie, and Banana Republic, but that was pretty common in my social circle.

Also maybe a gift certificate to a cosmetics store or a good set of Esse nail polishes, etc.

At least when I was younger, most things you would give an adult woman, you could give a 12 year old.

I'd take the joke better if I wasn't so serious that we need more natural selection. Sometimes this forum makes my brain hurt from trying to understand how things are so difficult to understand or how people get themselves into messes that are just so ridiculous. This stuff has to be made up.

uh, yup. concur. <EOM>

Season 3 of Lilyhammer. Bring it.

Well I mostly stopped watching it, when I could manuever around the house again, so when I pulled up NetFlix Saturday, it dropped me at the last episode of Season 1, which I had missed. Then I pulled a marathon of Season 2 [geez, I didn't even know it was there] and it's been fun, a decent Saturday, mind-numbing activity was needed and gotten.

Thanks so much, for mentioning this - I loved Season 1, Season 2 was a hoot ! This linkage with an Immigrant Center and a homosexual Nigerian cook who could sing Italian opera was mondo cool ! Sure, I know it was a lipsync, but I cried along with the rest of them.

Hmmmm.....The 3 targets in Brooklyn are like so so......

I love love love the Target out here, maybe it is some home state love? The other big box stores are so seriously understaffed that they can't function.

I do 99% of my grocery shopping there.

I'm glad to see other people have joined the "yes you can shut your legs during immigration" boat.

Shutting legs is not an issue. Lack of birth control is. I know married couples that used condoms and the pill to avoid pregnancy until they were wanting children. Being married doesn't mean you suddenly stop any and all birth control.
