well, the natives didn't founded America as we know it.....

And lets face it, 400 years ago in Salem MA, if a Jew flung a chicken around by the neck, he woulda been hung for witchcraft lol

And our Penal Law, the United States code, these laws practically come right out of the bible dear.....

I'm not disagreeing, but these are facts.

I admit it even if I'm not religious.

But, I digress.....

Speaking of witches, where's Stretch.......

And I am sure you are aware how impacted the Old Testament writers were by the Babylonian Empire and its laws as that is when much of that was written (you'll remember the first exile by the Babylonians)? Hammurabi's Code? And the New Testament writers by Greek and Roman traditions? So much of the New Testament is just dripping with it. Catholicism is so Roman that it is almost undeniable.

So, laws had to come from somewhere.

And our laws, come from the bible. For the most part.....

No, our laws, came from a blend of pagan and later Christian traditions, but pagans had those laws long before Christians came... British common law, which a lot of our laws are based on, is based on a variety of Anglo-Saxon pagan pre-existing traditions and probably very few Christian additions. I'd love to see any example of a Bible based law that couldn't be explained by a pre-existing Anglo-Saxon or Norman one or Roman one (and one could say our government has some Roman flair to it, no?).

The laws in the Bible are incredibly restrictive and I can assure you that American society is not built on them, maybe Hassid society, but not the American laws.
