We take wind blown spruce for firewood. Got it? The wind blows it down. We are sitting on top of more timber than I have ever seen in 30 years - hundred fifty footers piled like pick-up sticks from a wind storm last fall.

These would rot if we didn't use them. Been doing this for thirty years. While you've been burning petrochemicals and supporting the whole military-industrial complex surrounding that US addiction - I've been using renewable energy. To heat my cabin and shop.

It's incredible what a thimbleful of snowmachine gas will haul over the snow. I welded that sled in the picture. Me, the killer.

It is a great lifestyle, especially for the boys. But you know, people have these off-the-shelf PC put-downs they can deploy to score points with their internet buddies. Even cry for humanity over your crimes.

Daughter sold her first fursuit. Shes been talking with the person and they wanted to be her guinea pig

Speaking of which, see ma'am: A couple of days ago, we took Mini-B. to PetSmart to see all the critters. Among the guinea pigs (a.k.a. cuy, or "dinner" to Mrs. T-B.'s folk) was one that was covered in hair. Mrs. T-B. fell in love with it and wanted to adopt it. I told her that it would become dinner for her family during their next visit or, more immediately, dinner or a living-not-for-long scratching-post for the cat, miu man. I added that I'm not adopting a non-cat that I have to brush, no man.
