There's more, lemme find links

Toothache, help me.....

I don't know man, I went back to school full time 3 days after my section last time. I felt great and healed great.

I could never ever sit in the house for a month with a newborn. I'd probably rip my hair out. I need to go for walks outside and walks anywhere. Plus, culturally, at least Northern European cultures, believe a newborn should be out in the fresh air to sleep. Leave the baby outside in a stroller in winter, etc. It is the way my husband was raised and my parents.

That's because in days of yore, the northern European house is full of soot and smoke....

The same could be said for China, the women stayed in with the baby to avoid infectious transmissions.....

But ya know what? 30 years ago, white people thought acupuncture was crazy right? Yet the Chinese have had the human nerve system mapped out from 1500 years ago.

The Chinese been eating shark fin for a thousand years, now you go to GNC, they have shark cartilage pills right?

The Chinese been eating tendons for 2000 years, knowing it lubricated joints. What's tendons made of? Collagen and glucosamine.

Ginseng, ginkoba, all are ancient Chinese medicines.

The Greeks and Muslims stay indoors for 40 days.

I'll look for some recipes for Chinese post partum soups now....

Your wife is Asian, she is supposed to look young until she looks like a wrinkled old hag when she is like 55. I just load myself up on meat. I probably eat more meat than my husband. :star:

In days of yore? My father's childhood home had coal heating until like 1984. It is probably more to toughen them up so they don't complain when it is -20 out.

Brat, I hope you are actively planning on moving on from this organization. (I know generally you should commit for a year or so). But nonprofits are never gonna make you happy. And it's full of people that can't make it in the private sector. Now, that doesn't hold true for all, some people are that noble. But not a lot......

No, it is because genetically speaking they are different. It is the same with a lot of people throughout the world, like Africans. There is literally nothing a European can do to look that young unless they have the genes for it. I mean, you can stay away from things that will age you like smoking or drinking, but looking young like that? That's the stuff of informercial gold and you know it.

You see? you're skeptical of ancient Chinese secrets, just like people were in the cases of the stuff that I've mentioned.....

Here's another. The Chinese have known for hundreds of years that reptilian blood is good for you. They just didn't know what, they suspected it's good for the blood.

Now look......

http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2008/04/080407-alligator-blood.html

but it takes Nat Geo to tell them what they already knew?

Now I'm not saying that all Chinese stuff works. But man, a lot of it have merit........

She is a lucky lady. I've still got to walk the little one to and from school every day right after the c-section and with a baby in tow. And cook.

I think that is most women in the modern world, though.

Becareful. You can easily give yourself an infection or hurt yourself by doing too much afterward. You're not supposed to lift more than 10lbs for 6 weeks.

It's major surgery after all. Trust me, when it messes up, it REALLY messes up. I was on antibiotics and tylenol 2s. I couldn't sit up without help after I laid down.
