Hi Kayleigh. Welcome to VJ! I too will be filing for a K1 in the next few months and have found the K1 guide and the associated flow chart to be extremely helpful in getting my case file organized. Good luck!

I have my fingers crossed that we will be filing in March - so if you are in that same time frame we can be filing buddies!! I was really nervous about the whole process and paperwork, too and then I found this site! We were all set to hire an immigration attorney but have now thought better of it! I feel very confident that if we follow the guides we will have success in this process! I just can't wait to get started!!!!!! (Waiting on my divorce to be final...UGH)

Welcome to VJ and good luck!!

Like said before, its not soooo bad!!!

I think forms are still being sent to CSC (better check that one), but as long as you follow the guides, you'll be fine!!

We initially sent our petition off in June to Texas, but it was returned as the form was out of date (whoops!), so when we re-sent a current I129, we just sent it straight to CSC.

Time does pass quickly, though this final wait til the interview is doing me in!!!

Good luck

Yes, I 129f forms are being forwarded to the CSC from Nebraska and Texas. The petitioner still must mail the petition in to their correct service center and let them do the forwarding.

In your particular case, chloe, I'm assuming that was because your petition was forwarded from Texas to California. Then, you received an RFE from for not having used the correct form - hence you sending back the correct I 129f to California directly.
