Before 2 months my wife apply i130 for me in us embassy in amman - jordan, when she sent them email to check the staus, the send her the following email:

Greetings,

The visa petition you filed on behalf of your spouse has been approved and the beneficiary for whom you filed has been given the appropriate visa classification.

Your petition to classify the beneficiary as an immediate relative of a United States citizen has been forwarded to American Embassy Amman, consular section, immigrant visa unit. This completes all action by USCIS on the petition. A DOS official will contact the beneficiary and provide instruction about getting a visa. Any question regarding visa issuance should be directed to DOS consular section at support-jordan@ustraveldocs.com<mailto:support-jordan@ustraveldocs.com> . You may also contact us at 06 579 9560 in Jordan. If you are calling from the United States, you may reach us at (703) 520-2242.

So what now? Should i apply for the interview or what? What does that mean?

Plz help

It says what it says, they'll contact you shortly with instructions and your case number. This is considered a second Notice of Action (NOA2), simply a petition approval which gives you the oppurtunity to apply for your immigrant visa by sending in the rest of the required paperwork they need from you. The interview won't be scheduled until the embassy in Amman contacts you saying they've received all required documentation that they need from the intending immigrant.

With the I-130 the sponsor filing the petition is required to provide only their own documentation like their own US birth certificate. The only document that refers to both my husband and me I remember having to submit with the I-130 is our marriage certificate.

Basically I-130 is a petition filed by the sponsor/USC spouse with the USC's documentation to prove their citizenship and that there's a legit marriage going on. The next step (that you're waiting on) is the consulate stage where the IV unit contacts the beneficiary/foreign spouse and asks them to submit their own supporting documents - in your case a copy of your Jordanian passport photo page and your original birth certificate, etc. They'll give you either a link to a checklist or an actual physical checklist that will tell you what you need to send in.

And, yes, they'll be giving you your case number with the Packet 3 notice you're waiting on now.

Well my husband had to use it to register the mailing address he wants his visa delivered to. (not the green card, the actual visa you get before flying to the US) It asks for your passport number and case number along with, of course, the mailing address they'll be returning your passport to after your interview. You need to print out the confirmation page (with barcode) and include it with the Packet 3 response.

That's at least what we had to do for the German consulate. I don't know how it goes with Jordan, but if the Document Delivery Registration is included in their checklist of things required before scheduling an interview, then it'll be as I just explained.

You'll also use that website to schedule your own interview IF they don't schedule it for you. You should wait for Packet 4 (them saying they received and approve of all your documentation) to arrive though before you try scheduling anything.
