Well...it was actually a John Mayer concert. It was before he was famous. We went to this TINY bar in Asheville, NC and saw him with about 30 other people there. That was June 1st, 2001 <sigh>

Well - Just Thursday night we went and saw him together again! this time it was a sold out arena...but he actually played ONE of the same songs!! It was fun!

ok, so what was your first date?

Finally finished with immigration in 2012!

October 1, 2002. He came to the restaurant (he still worked in landscaping at the time) on a bike. We had NEVER spoken before-we were set up by my manager-his cousin. I thought he was the most stuck up Mexican I had ever seen-all the other ones would be really friendly to me when they came in and he never spoke to me. Even that evening he didn't even say hi to me. I was getting ready to leave and he was nowhere to be found so I got in my car and he came out running. We decided to go to Applebees but he said he wasn't hungry and, being shy like I was, I didn't want to just sit there and eat in front of him even though I was starving, so we had sodas and then left. Only just a few months ago did I learn the reason he didn't eat was because he forgot his money... So anyway, I drove him home, ended up going inside and we watched Crazy Beautiful, then some other really weird stuff happened which shall go unspecified... Dumbest first date ever.

The pyramids  August 8, 2003.

I have a picture of it on my desk, sitting on some big stone blocks, next to a sign that says "do not climb." After the pic was taken, we got yelled at by a policeman on a camel with a huge semi automatic rifle for climbing on the pyramid.

I flew into London early morning on October 31, 2003, and he met me that evening. We went out to a small inn for dinner. We were seated next to the open fireplace, it was so cozy on a cool night. Later we went for a walk around the hotel grounds, there was a small pond full of swans and ducks and the moon was shining on the water. Every time we stopped to cuddle fireworks would go off over our heads which became a long standing joke of ours. Being halloween didn't hurt the atmoshpere, with all of the fireworks going off. It was very romantic indeed. If I were watching our date, it would look like some soppy romantic chick flick lol. (L) I don't think we could have had a better first date.

I'm no gun expert, but it was large and scary and looked like this:

most military rifles are either selectable semi-auto and 3 round burst or semi-auto and automatic. i prefer the latter.

I don't know if it qualifies as a date. I arrived in Manila airport after 30-some hours of travel. We took a taxi back to her flat in Makati. I took a shower and we walked down for a quick dinner at a local fast food place. I was so tired I can't remember if it was Jollybee or KFC.

Married on 11/21/06 in her hometown city Tumauini located in the Isabela province (Republic of the Philippines)

our first date was at a sports bar the first weekend we met in person .... he had wanted to sit in the bar section but they carded us at the door and silly me had forgotten my DL in my carry on bag....

so they seated us in the back.. it actually turned out nicer because we were the only ones in that back room.... the person sat us in the U-shaped booth and we each sat on either end... I felt really strange sitting that far away from him so I scooted over to sit right beside him :)...

I really don't know what we talked about or anything... I just remember feeling very comfortable with him and we both felt like we had known each other forever.... there were a few moments where i felt like kissing him but I was waiting for him to kiss me

then in the car on the way back to the hotel where I was staying... we stopped at a red light and he looked over at me and said "I love you" (L) and I of course said I love you back :D that was the first time we had said it in person.... it was the perfect moment for a kiss but he didn't go for it :P

We made up on the kissing part later ;)

It was a great first date.....

the point i was making is unless one knows guns quite well, one can't just look at a rifle and name it a semi auto ;)
