I voted sleepless in seattle as it reminds me of my sister who cried whilst the rest of us were like "WHAT on earth was that all about".

I voted other for the action films as I like anything with DeNiro or Pacino in it especially Once Upon A Time In America.

I also love the old musicals especially anything with Doris Day (my friends think I am an old fogey)

Among romantic comedies, I've seen "Nine Months" (video) and "Runaway Bride" (inflight). Liked Runaway Bride due to the song "Ready To Run" by Dixie Chicks.

Among Harrison Ford movies, I've seen:

  • Star Wars series
  • Indiana Jones series
  • Jack Ryan series
  • Fugitive

I found "Return of the Jedi" disappointing; did not like the butchery (compared to book) of "Patriot Games" and "Clear And Present Danger"; a good question is if Spielberg's research for "Munich" which I haven't seen matched that done for "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom" (which I did see--it showed a GLARING LACK thereof).

"Witness" was excellent, so I'll put it as my actual favourite.

("Sum of All Fears" featured Ben Affleck in same role played by Ford, but even more butchered from novel).

Van Damme: only one I saw was "Timecop" which I (surprisingly) liked.

I think my favourite romantic comedies would be the "Look who's talking" movies (John Travolta and Kirstie Alley).

dixie-that movie with christian slater................."untamed heart" don't even know how I remembered that are you referring to that North & South mini-series???? Oh my God that is my favorite of all time!!!!
