How Long will it take to get a case number at NVC?

Got an email from NVV today that the payment for aos didn't get through due to website glitch...urghhhh..so we are going to pay it again on Friday.. Whee..false alarm lol.. We are advised that if for the second attempt it won't get through we need to pay by mail. Can anyone help me find the address for payment? Thanks...

I used this link https://ceac.state.gov/CTRAC/Invoice/Signon.aspx?node=Signon on Friday and it has been in process until today it changed to paid.

You may have to draw a money order as they have advised if the technical problem persists. All the best my twinnie

Yeah we'll try it on Friday..prolly our IV will be invoiced at that time so we can pay both right away... Hopefully...

Hey, my aos changed yesterday to PAID, just asking.. do you mean we should call NVC to have the iv bill invoiced....

yeah.. I just called and said it changed to paid and I did the ds261 and she said hold on.. seconds later came back and said ok your done the iv should be issued in 5-7 days but someone said it took less then 24 hours. I would call

Thanks. We shall call tonight. I had already filled the ds 261 online and recieved the confirmation. I would like to know if there anywhere that one can check if it was accepted or is the confirmation final?

does it show completed when you sign into the Form Portal site? if so then your all set. its accepted once your iv is invoiced, which could take think up to 30 days but calling helps it move along faster.

How to access that Form portal? I don't know how to get there? i want to check now

just to give some help.. if you know it already its ok bypass and I know its in the NVC WIKI but just helping along...

Payment Portal : this is where you pay both AOS fee and IV fee

Form Portal: this is where you fill out the DS 261 and DS 260 , it says pay now for both fee but this is not the site to pay fees, only site to fill out forms

Another one, just wondering.. we have two cases and i am the principal applicant..the second applicant is 9yr old daughter. So, whenever i try to log on with her case number plus IIN, this is what it says:

{The selected Case Number and Invoice Identification Number combination you entered does not match our records. Please try again or contact the National Visa Center for further assistance. }

WHY?

so you have two different Cae #s and two different IN #s? looks like one or the other is wrong.. I would call if your entering the correct information, or maybe they gave wrong # by accident.. seems like either her case number is wrong or her in number is wrong.
