Interview Passed with 1 Caveat: NBI Clearance did not list Husband's Surname

My fiance had her interview on November 13th and was approved, however during the vetting process, one of the Filipino examiners noticed that the husband's surname section of the NBI clearance was blank, a detail she did not realize until it was brought up during the course of the interview. (Fiance's previous marriage was annulled several years ago). The examiner has now requested a new NBI clearance, which she was able to obtain today and send back to the embassy via the 2-GO MOA branch. Has anyone on here experienced this situation? If so, how long of a delay should I expect until the visa is released? I was hoping to purchase a ticket by late November and avoid the astronomical December airfares, but at this point it looks like I might be paying higher airfare than I had expected.

NBI only sends documents over to USEM once a week, I believe on Fridays. Then it can be anywhere from a couple weeks to a month (or more) once USEM has the document. No one can give an exact time frame as every case is different.

Hank is right. I will add these words of caution.

Do not finalize arrangements for travel to the United States, dispose of properties, or resign from your

job until a visa has been issued and delivered to you.
