Guys, can someone tell me if the petitioner needs to prove where he/she lives and with whom, and get it notarized by the bank. So confused while watching the below video. This is not a spam. it is a video from one of the beneficiary who failed her interview because she doesn't have the above document.

No you don't need this. This information is included in the petitioners G-325A. When it comes time for the interview the CO will expect the beneficiary to know threw questioning where the petitioner lives and if other people are in the house who are they, how are they related.

Just follow the instructions with the I-129 form, read the K-1 section on the HCMC US consulate site for any embassy specific items (it is in Vietnamese) and review the K-1 guide on here of what is needed to send in. It really is that simple.

There have been at least a couple of instances where the petitioner (and beneficiary) was asked to provide a 10-year residency history at the interview. This is in addition to the form where you list the current address of the ex-spouse (or girlfriend) if the petitioner and/or beneficiary was previously married (or unmarried but has child(ren)).

In Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh City) - There is a government document called "Bản Lý Lịch Tư Pháp Số 2" - Original Justice Record Check #2 to show the historical information of the beneficiary. This is one of the documents that is required to be translated to English and provided to Consulate officer at the interview. In order to get this paperwork Original Justice Record Check #2 notarized, the beneficiary must bring ID card (Chứng Minh Nhân Dân), Household Registration Book (Hộ Khẩu) to the Justice Office where beneficiary lives. It will take 3-4 weeks and probably some coffee money to get it done.

For the petitioner, G-325A is good.

how are you doing Frontgear? i have a question for you. My fiance didn't get his Pk 3 yet. However, I requested an e version of the letter anyway. Will this paper work at the Vaccination Center?

The lady from Dich Vu keeps telling me to wait until receive the Pk 3 to get a Case # which she will use to label on the Medical appointment paper. I don't know what she's talking about and don't trust her anyway. She's been telling me different things everyday.

what is your suggestions? At this point, I have an e version of the Pkg 3 Letter. Shall we go ahead and make an appoitnment or wait until we receive the letter?

Yes, the electronic version of the Packet 3 letter can be used for vaccination and medical exam. Just make sure you print 2 copies of the letter (plus 2 copies of each of these docs: DS-160 and interview appt letter).

Your case # (HCM2014XXXXX) is printed on the Packet 3 letter. That is all you need.

Go ahead and fill out your DS160 online, create an account on ustraveldocs.com (if you haven't already), and print the Deposit Slip to pay your visa fee. You will need the HCM case number for this process.

You don't need to translate the Police Record #2 to English. In fact, you don't need to translate any documents as long as they are in Vietnamese or English, including copy of your chat log, phone log, emails, or what have you.

Also, the Police Record #2 doesn't have to be notarized. The place where it is issued will stamp it (with the Red stamp) and that's all you need. But you may need to give them some coffee money to speed up the process. My then-fiancee gave them 500,000 VND and she had it in 4 days.

Ask me how I know. LOL

You are right.

Yes, chat logs, email, and relationship evidences do not need to be translated.

So we got the payment confirmation # (CGI#) on Friday (VN time). Can I make appt like tomorrow (Sat)? I've just tried to make appointment but they can't locate the payment confirmation.

It takes 24 hrs after payment is made to be able to schedule the appt. You should get an email saying that the payment has been posted, at which time you can go ahead and schedule the appointment. In my experience, it takes less than 24 hrs.
