Bush is trying to create a giant hole he already made himself in that he cant get out of now because he know his time is almost up.

He's a lame duck in every way. For 6 years he was in full control and smugly snubbed his nose at the Dems. As a free democracy we allow dissent and protest to the government's policies and actions, but don't fool yourself into thinking this does not encourage our enemies in this war.

I'd rather fight them in Iraq then on US soil.

I noticed no one commented on the possibility of Bush being impeached rather than completing term (my analysis is as close to neutral as I could get; Pelosi does have motivation to try it).
