I have personally never witnessed you being "rabid anti-gun". But so we can be clear, what IS your stance on owning guns and gun control?

My stance on gun control is very clear, I've stated here numerous times.

A complete ban on any weapon that may look like. Something called an assault weapon when it accounts for less than1% of gun crime is rabid anti gun

Because when the question is asked, why do you need an assault rifle, the answer is, cause I can. I think Teddy and some of us who favor gun control is asking why is having one so imperative? I know hand guns kill more people than an assault rifle, just wanted to know why.

The same as most of the tighter gun control crowd. He's not anti-gun, he's anti-idiot with a gun.

If I had to wager a guess, it's because they look tough. Depending on the caliber, they could be a useful hunting tool, too. If ever I were to buy/build one, I think it would be a .300 Blackout.

It's nice of you to try and answer for Teddy. He doesn't seem to want to "come out" today.

The real question is why does someone's POV on guns matter? Since when has the 2nd amendment superseded the first?

To some, it's the only amendment that matters.

I'd get a M-16 for the house if I could. It's the only rifle I'm comfortable shooting, but the missus has made her point very clear so that's out. I think anyone should be able to defend themselves, it's the notion that you HAVE to be armed all the damn time. If you're home and typing posts with a gun strapped to your person or talking about taking them to the bathroom, I think there might be an issue.

Teddy has said this a few times, just like me, John, Penny and the rest of the "lib" brigade.

Careful Dave, I once claimed that I thought a lot of people liked assault weapons because they look intimidating and was called a scaredy cat. You should be ok though, you're in the club.
