Just wondering those of you that have had a K1 visa issued, how long did it take after it said Issued on the CEAC website until you actually received your passport. I know it varies , just wondering. Thank you.

For me, 3 days after the interview was done. Status "Issued" on Thursday and went to the embassy on Friday.

Once all the paperwork is in and you have followed all the info on your email they sent, they will send you another email with the appt information. You can not schedule your own appt, but if you check my timeline it might help some. Good luck your almost done, it moves pretty quickly now :)

Hi Everyone!

I just wanna know more about FORM I-797 as me and my fiance received SMS from USCIS saying that they received our fiance Petition and that the official Receipt Notice (FORM I-797) to follow in mail. I checked USCIS and found out that FORM I-797 is to acknowledge that The Petition is approved. So can someone tell me what does it mean when USCIS Says Official Receipt Notice (FORM I-797) to follow in mail?

This is the first Notification we received from USCIS after sending The I-129F. If this is the NOA1 then USCIS should say receipt notice (FORM I-797C) to follow in mail But it says on the SMS Receipt Notice (FORM I-797) to follow in mail. Has anyone received the same Message?
