Hello my name is Kiera my Fiance is Ethiopian and he proposed to me on my birthday April 25th and today I sent off my I-129 F petition and just wanted to get some feedback on what to look out for , the waiting time etc

08/9/13 went to teach in Ethiopia
09/4/13 met Abdi at School
09/7/13 first date
04/25/14 Got engaged
06/30/14 returned to U.S.
11/10/14...I-129F sent
11/13/14...I-129F recieved
11/18/14.. NOA1 e-mail notification
11/24/14...NOA1 hard copy recieved in mail'

06/10/2015...NOA2 e-mail notification!!!!!!!!Thank God !!!

Welcome to VJ!! You can go to guides and select K-1 visa and it will show you step by step what to do and how the process works. Make sure you fill out your timeline. The wait if at TSC....long wait. Just try to be patient and I wish you the best in your journey!

Welcome. Right now you just wait, and depending on several factors that wait varies, from whether you are sent the CSC or TSC, whether you get an RFE and so on.

Once you get your NOA1 which should only take 2-3weeks you will see where your file goes this will give you a better idea but not guarantee.

Check out all the guides on the site for K1 visas, your embassy guide etc

Thanks guys! From tracking my package it was recieved today...im soo nervous I checked everything like 100 times. Is there a certain way that the service center they sent it to is decided ir is it just randon?
