Husband's paperwork was received on 11/12, biometric appointment is on 12/10 (same day as his graduation in another state :/) and I just checked his status online and it says "Request for Initial Evidence". I'll be out of town when the mail arrives, is there any other way I can check to see what they need?

Congratulations on the receipts. Most of the RFEs coming are for the I864 and evidence of income and for birth certificates. You have to wait for the RFE. Good Luck! Hope it is something simple.

Oh dear! Sorry to hear that. I hope it's something simple, so you can turn it around quickly. Medical form, tax-transcript, marriage certificate, birth certificate, and missing signatures are the most common ones. But that's about all there is in the form! I guess there's no point thinking about what it might be. Hopefully you'll get the post soon.

Any other updates from anyone? My biometrics was on the 2nd of Decemeber, and then there's just been silence. I don't much care about the GC, but I'm hoping they send me my EAD soon so i can work. My brain is atrophying without work!!

I hope the RFE is something simple as well. As of the timelines, Chicago is between 70 and 80 days for EAD and AP. The good news is Boston is handling only 2400 AOS applications and you should have your residence at the same time as EAD. So, good luck and I guess just wait for your interview date.

In the October filers, somebody posted a link and I followed that to see how most field offices were doing. That is how I found out about Boston stats. Also, if you look at the timeline under AOS and EAD, you will see end Sept and early Oct is being worked on for EAD and Boston is 3 months out on AOS. So, Good luck!

How long is the wait normally from NOA1 and biometrics appointment? They sent me e-motification Dec 3, NOA1 hard copy Dec 6 and now I'm thinking my biometrics appointment will probably be early January? Does that sound right?
