Green card is in production, no interview!!

Congrats!

on oct 22 2015 i finally got a notice that my interview will take place on 24 nov 2015. a whole year of waiting since i sent my aos package in nov 25 2015

Good luck!

Congrats!!!

Anyone else still waiting? No news here.

I was looking at your timeline and it's almost identical to mine. I just came back from yet another disappointing InfoPass appointment where I was basically told that yes my case is outside processing times and there's nothing they can tell me except to wait some more. Plus I knew more about the whole process than the person I talked to at the USCIS in Chicago...

So I pretty much did everything there was to do to find out what's happening with my case and I was told nothing more than what I already knew.

Please keep posting any updates you get!

Hi,

I think there is a delay in green card production. There is another person on this forum, who had interview on 7/20, got approved the same day and got the card only on 8/18. We got approved on 8/17, so i guess we will have to wait.

Let me know when you receive the card - I think it should be very soon .

Hi, any news on your end? Did your online status change?

Still no news on my end. I called to know whats going on and nothing encouraging. So am setting up an infopass appointment.

Let me know if you have news.

Will do, you do the same thing.

Good luck!

Just as I thought, the response to my service request was:

Due to workload factors not related to your case, USCIS anticipates a delay in completing your case. USCIS is committed to adjudicating immigration benefits in the order received and in a timely and efficient manner. We regret any inconvenience that results from delays in processing.

Preparing everything now to contact my congressman. It's been almost a year.

I am also waiting to receive my generic response from them just so I could add it to the letter to my congressman. But what irritates me the most is the "in the order received" part because their website clearly states that they are working on the cases submitted on January 6, 2015. So what order is that really because I submitted mine in November 2014 (just like you did).

Good luck with your congressman! Keep us posted :)

I know, right?? My local office(s) are working on petitions from beginning/end of February 2015 and these processing times apply to me even though my case is still at NBC. I know of many cases where they received the NPIW letter just a 2-3-4 months ago and have been approved since. I got mine 8 months ago. Lame.

What country are you from? What visa are you adjusting from? It's terrible, your interview was in May and still no decision? Wow.

At this point I'm beyond frustrated at this whole process and their customer service, but it helps to know that I'm not the only one stuck in the system.

I spent 4 years on an F-1 visa and then another year on an OPT work permit, so last year this time I started my AOS process. I come from the same country as you, so now I'm starting to think that it has something to do with the country of origin. Maybe? I don't know anymore

I honestly think it's random... it can't have anything to do with the country of origin because I know of Bosnian couples/people who sent their application months after me and have been approved even after getting a NPIW letter or have been given at least an interview date by now.

I do, however, completely understand the feeling of being beyond frustrated.

Hang in there and keep us posted, ok? Hopefully there will be some good news for us too some time soon.

I mailed my ap/ead renewal forms yesterday and I'm just so sad :(

I am still holding off on sending my ap/ead renewal forms kinda hoping that I will get approved any day now because, as silly as it may sound, I feel that once I mail those out I am admitting to myself that my approval won't happen any time soon.

I'll keep you posted on any news from my side and you do the same, ok?

If you get approved some time soon, I'll be so happy because I'll know there's hope for me too :)

Lol, I know the feeling, I kept holding off sending the ap/ead renewal forms for the same reason but I've come to the point of just giving up.

Will keep you posted, it seems it's just the two of us keeping this thread alive, everyone else seems to have been approved already :)

Good luck and send the renewal forms, they will throw them away if your GC gets approved first. It's free anyway so there's nothing to lose :)
