It's full of NPIW letter recipients still waiting, 1 year after they submitted their AOS application.

06/23/14 Service Request created after congressional inquiry
07/03/14 Email from USCIS - our case is on processing hold due to pending security checks
08/04/14 No update from USCIS. Filed a case with CIS Ombudsman
08/05/14 Senators/Congresswoman cannot help with my case because security checks are pending
08/05/14 Another Service Request created by Tier 2 since no response from TSC.
08/18/14 Email from USCIS in response to second service request - still on processing hold due to pending security checks
08/21/14 NOA2 (finally after 7 months)

08/25/14 Email from USCIS - approved case shipped to NVC on 8/22/14

09/02/14 Case received by NVC

09/04/14 Case # assigned by NVC

09/05/14 In transit to the Embassy

09/09/14 Case received by Tbilisi Embassy - ready for interview

09/17/14 Interview!!! - APPROVED!!!!

AOS took 15 months, 2 weeks and one day.

I filed for marriage based AOS on November 20th, biometrics appointment was on December 19th and on December 24th my I-485 status changed to "Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview". There have not been any changes since then! I called last week to ask about my EAD since it has been more than 90 days and they opened a service request but no news so far. I am in New York City, it seems like there are a lot of delays in this area. Anybody else on a similar situation? We are starting to get a bit anxious!

I am petitioning for my mom. She just received the Notice of Potential Interview Waive, which makes sense since there is not much to prove regarding a bonafide relationship. Unfortunately, looks like we will be waiting a long time. I don't really understand why hey waive an interview if they are going to delay the process by so long.

Also, we recently changes our address and even though we notified immigration immediately and they sent us a confirmation of the change, they still sent the notice to the old address. Fortunately, the forwarded the mail (I though immigration mail was not allowed to be forwarded?). Anyone has any advice on how we can make sure they send all future correspondence to the right address. Thank you!.

Hello everyone: Received email and text of EAD approval 5 minutes ago. Nothing on the AP. Can anyone tell me how long does it take for the AP to be approved after the EAD. I appreciate the wishes and the help. And, my nest wishes for the ones who are still waiting....

My AP was approved few hours later.

So I would say for sure on the same day.
