Hi Mc&C, first congratulations.

On January 28, 2015, we received your response to our Request for Evidence for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status, Receipt Number MSCxxxxxx. Our National Benefits Center office will begin working on your case again. We will mail you a decision or notify you if we need something from you. You should receive a decision or case update by March 29, 2015, unless fingerprinting or an interview are needed.

and what kind of notice did you receive on 2/9? no interview? thanks!

Thank you so much to those that answered my questions. You all helped me sleep better at night. In our case, an RFE did not affect the work permit.

Iawait,
I hope you take it easy the next few weeks and I wish you a speedy recovery!

how many days after RFE did you receive your EAD? thanks!

Congrats to everyone who has been approved!

Could you please create/update your timeline if you haven't already? It really helps everyone else on the forum. It gives a clearer picture of the estimates to everyone and automatically updates the AP/EAD timelines

Yes, it was the same status as yours. They mailed out the welcome notice on 02/09, I have no idea what it looks like since I haven't got the mail yet. I haven't got any interview waiver letter or interview request. So I guess they approved my case and it went pretty fast without an interview.

Thanks iawait.

I think it's not anything you've done, it's just bad luck :/ Others with RFEs have received their AP/EAD so they had more luck than us. I'm sorry you've been waiting this long, I know you applied almost 3 weeks before I did :( Hang in there. I'm sure you'll get approved any day now :)

Is here anyone from Chicago who has already received the interview date?

Mailed AoS package on 11/15 from Chicago. Fingerprint fee for I-485 was accepted on 12/4 and Biometrics appointment was on 12/31. Have not heard anything since and we are extremely disappointed to say the least.
