Hi everyone!

We are Nov. 20 filers - still nothing:( :( :( super upset !

I have filed the information request after 75 days and just received a letter from USCIS saying how sorry they are for the delay and that the reason for that is "a backlog...blah blah blah workload". Is there anything else I can do speed it up? Why people that filed after us are being approved and we are still waiting, I just don't understand this!

Do you know if this depends on the state you are from? We send the package to Chicago lockbox, and then i assume it was forwarded either to Vermont or TX.

Any thoughts?

Thank you !!

Thank you!

We did pay the $1070, we didn't know that AP was included in the fee. Probably didn't read all the instrucitons correctly.....We will probably submit the AP once we receive the hard copy of the NOA. thank you everyone for the feed back! :-)

We received our Text and Email notifications last night around 8PM that USCIS received our package. :-)

good luck everyone

hi GBNYC, wonder if you submitted AP after all? if so,do you think the EAD approval days ger reset from the AP filing days?

In my excitement I misread the case number in the text I got. The update was actually about my EAD, telling me that USPS had picked up the card, and then another text a few mins later to tell me the card was delivered to me - which is silly, because the card was picked up and delivered to me over a week ago now. Oh well. But I'm still glad I at least have the EAD/AP card.

I'm hoping the AoS interview comes up soon. But I'm not really worried, to be honest. The EAD was the main thing, so I can get out of the house and be productive!

The website was down almost all weekend and today it's loading for me but veeeeryyyyy slowly. Could it be notice of potential interview waiver? Or maybe notification about your interview date or maybe even approval :)

Hopefully it's not an RFE.

Let us know :)

OMG, I hope I don't get the interview waiver thing. Those guys just get kicked into the long grass (of California) for months!!

Thanks! I wish your coming interview goes well too :dancing:

I would say 95% of my interview was going through the application package and making photocopies of my recent pay stubs and birth of my certificate which I have already submitted in the original one with the package.
