Hi guys, I also mailed my package (I-485, EAD, AP) on Nov. 7 via UPS. It was delivered on Wednesday, Nov. 12.

Am still waiting for SMS and/or email confirmation from USCIS.

Also I have been reading from the timeline of some VJ users about expediting the EAD, can someone shed more light on this? What's the process? Read about filing it through a congressman/woman.

Nov. 5 - sent the aos package via usps express

Nov. 10 - package was accepted (usps tracking)

Nov. 17 - email/txt confirmation that fingerprint fee was accepted.

I got the three email and text confirmations last night. In my confirmation it said all three were sent to "National Benefits Centre" with an MSC prefix. Is this what everyone else got as well?

Also, can anyone tell me why/when does the "local USCIS Office" get involved? I don't know where my local office would be. I actually live much closer to Providence, RI than I do to Boston, MA. Can we pick and choose where we go? Does my AoS interview happen at the local office? How about biometrics?

Hi all November filers! Sent my applications with fees on the 7th. Didn't receive the email. But, received Mail NOA1 for all three on the 20th with receive date of 10th and acceptance of 14th. Now waiting for the biometrics. GL all!

I mailed it on for my wife on Nov 13, was delivered to the Chicago lockbox on Nov 15, but still haven't gotten any text/email or NOA1 hardcopy yet. They haven't cashed my check, either.

I am wondering if it is normal for them to take this long to acknowledge receipt.

It is normal. I didn't receive these either. You have to wait for the check to clear and you will get the NOA1 by mail if they misplace the electronic delivery form. If you call them, they will tell yu to wait 30 days and then call back.

Sent the package today finally! Included I-485, AP and EAD application. We sent the package via UPS (next day air) but since tomorrow is Thanksgiving I believe they won't get it til Monday so I guess I'll soon be moving to December filers :o

Just realized we didn't write anything on the envelope, just the address. Is that gonna be a problem? The first thing they will see when they open the package is the cover letter which clearly states everything. I hope I'm just overthinking this :(

I just got a request for more evidence ;( I have no idea what it could be.

Most probably for income questions (I-864 problems) or marriage certificte notarized. These are the two things that have been requested of other people in other month filers. Wait for the RFE hard copy and ask if you need any advise. Good Luck!
