No news for me too.

This is funny how people have their interviews already scheduled in February which means they will have a GC shortly after the interview.

So what's the point of EAD/AP being processed for so long?

I would better have EAD/AP in 30 days after filing and wait for a GC even for a year.

I feel like it would be so much easier cause you can get a job, ID and start adjusting to your new life.

I totally agree. I've missed a really great job opportunity already, thinking I would be authorized to work as of February 1st. No movement on my EAD/AP applications since December 3, but we already have an AOS interview for Feb 17th. It's hard for me to understand that I've been ready for an interview since Jan 12 (with no RFEs, quick biometrics approval, etc.), but still no news on work authorization. I'm a college teacher, so now I've missed opportunities to work this semester, and will have to wait until the fall. Still, I look at the big picture and I'm grateful, but I do agree that EAD/AP should (and could) be approved faster.

Congrats! Hopefully it's starting to move for the rest of us :) I don't think the card takes more than a working week to arrive.

Congrats everyone!

Few questions:

Was it "Case Was Received" and then changed straight to "Card Was Mailed" ?

Did anybody apply for AP as well?

Did you guys get the interview scheduled already?

Or is it still in "Fingerprint Fee Was Received" status?

Thanks!

The message I got tonight is "Card/ Document Production " and prior to that it was "Case Was Received". I didn't apply for AP so I can't really say anything about it.

So far no interview, still in "Fingerprint Fee was Received" for me.

Congratulations everyone!!!!

Does an RFE affect getting an EAD if its initial evidence? Our lawyer didn't send the right papers and didn't tell us until recently. If yes, is there any way around it? :(

Yes I believe an RFE resets the 90 days window to get your EAD, but it doesnt prevent you from actually getting it, it ust postpone the process which is sometimes annoying. Did you file in November? It would seem strange that you had an RFE for initial evidence now? If it is really the case you should start counting from the time the USCIS acknowledge reception of your evidence.

Stay positive and Good luck, it's just a setback
