Nothing yet. Requested expedite for my EAD and apparently they sent me letter with instructions on 12/31 and I haven't received it yet. I Still don't understand why USCIS communicates with mail like 50 years ago. Whats wrong with emails?????

Skab, Thanks a lot for this, that's very helpful. I have a contract for a freelancing job and I'm waiting for my EAD to be able to bill, would that expidite procedure apply or is it only for long-term employment contracts? I think the financial loss would qualify as substantial.

Great, Thanks Skab. Am going for the job interview this week so once i get hired and provided the necessary employment documents i will then expedite the EAD. Another thing is that am not sure if i should just wait or make the expedite process, I submitted my application to USCIS on Nov. 7 so am part of the early filers for the month and according to past trends Nov. filers should start receiving their EAD's now so i dont know if i should just wait or just go for the expedite process because i really dont want to loose this job offer cos its one-in-a-million and am also sick of sitting at home.

Hi, Scab! may I ask you when you filed your application? Mine was received in Chicago on Nov 19th. And I still didn't hear anything about my EAD.

Also I have a question to all of you guys:my online status up until 3 sayd ago said: ready to be scheduled for an interview. if you don't receive the notice by Jan 22, go to....to request a copy. NOW it ONLY says : Ready to be scheduled for an interview. NO mentioning of Jan 22.. What does it mean? Everythng is getting postponed? did any of you have the same thing with your online case status? It is so frutrating... :( :( :(
