Well honestly it was just the 3 year mandatory service, no big deal. They were actually obsessed with trying to get me into officer course but I didn't want to stick around for longer than 3 years and didn't wanna be an officer. Could be part of why I didn't care about ranks - cause I knew I coulda been there myself and done even a better job than alot of officers I dealt with, I just opted not to. They actually called me 4 times a few months apart just so I can sign no. Which I didn't care about, cause it gave me 4 days off.

It's more a matter of respect for anyone who holds that office. Bush might have come off as that way, but you have to have a decent amount of intelligence to become the president. And Clinton? No worse than JFK, who had to be the biggest pimp to ever set foot on the White House lawn.

I haven't been to Kittery in years, but overall, I'd say living in Maine is more laid back than MA or RI, but only a miniscule black population, like 1.4%. So kinda like Northern rednecks.
