Is that person posing as some sort of charitable organization rep? The law would vary from place to place regarding these kinds of scams, however if they are pretending to be sick and asking around for money I'm not sure who you can complain to.

My guess would be to try your local department of consumer/finance/business affairs, it may have another name. Or you can try your local police precinct and maybe they could point you in the right direction too.

This person lives in housing, yet works under the table cleaning offices, and also watching kids for two families.

She also recently claimed her daughter has tumor..its all on GOFUNDME.COM.

Through that page they collected a little over 6k, plus my community collected over 3k. They bought a wv bettle, the more money grew they decided to buy a brand new kia for 13k cash.

She is doing fraud on housing, as well as food stamps and cash assistance, and disability.

This is so not fair and I want to stop it.

Contact the local police, the local department for social services, and maybe the FBI. Don't expect much to be done. I had a friend who did the same with section 8 housing and food stamps and nothing was ever done to her.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

Those services have their own fraud hotline. Find the number for them and report it, give them the information for the gofundme page.

Sounds like it's a matter for the police... make a report and they can take it from there. They can't just take somebody's word that someone else is a conman, but they can investigate for themselves.
