"221-G"... gave evidence... now at CEAC "Issued"... what does this mean

Hi All

So my fiancé had her interview on the 22nd of October, she got a 221G, we submitted the extra evidence in a week (Oct 29th, 2014) and today morning on the CEAC website it shows ISSUED. Does this mean she got the visa, is she approved? I am not getting clear confirmation. I want to say yes, but I need your support to confirm. The interview was in New Delhi. If issued means approved.. then ..... HALEEELLUIJAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!

How would I know that it has been mailed to the pick up location in Punjab. (She chose that on the form). And do we get any notification that it has arrive at the passport pick up center. Any info is helpful. My hands are shaking as I type. Thanks in advance

January 22nd, 2014 - NOA 1 approved - Case shows up online

January 24th, 2014 - Received NOA 1 hard copy in mail

Sep 12th, 2014 - NOA2 approved, case shows up online

Sep 15th, 2014 - Checked USCIS to find out that we were approved on the 12th, no txts or email although we were signed up.

Sep 15th, 2014 - Case shipped to NVC

Sep 25th, 2014 - Case arrived at NVC

Sep 26th, 2014 - Called and received case # from NVC.

Sep 29th,2014 - Case in transit to New Delhi

Sep 30th,2014 - Case shows "ready" online

Oct 2nd, 2014 - Submitted DS-160 online.

Oct 16th, 2014 - Police Certificate in hand.

Oct 20th, 2014 - Will have medical Report in hand

Oct 21st, 2014 - Scheduled fingerprinting

Oct 22nd, 2014 - INTERVIEW ......

Nov 12th, 2014 - Passport in hand with Approved VISA

Nov 27th, 2014- Arrived in the USA via Miami

....

GREEN CARD PROCESS STARTS

....

Dec 4th, 2014 - Married

Dec 11th, 2014 - Submitted I485, I765

Dec19th, 2014- Received several I797C - one for 485, 765 and one more (cant remember)

Jan 12th, 2015 - Biometrics.

Feb 5th, 2015 - Written Drivers test - PASSED

Feb 12th, 2015 - Road Test...... fingers crossed....PASSED... mailed the card. Said would get it for a year

Feb 13th, 2015 - EAD card in production... waiting to get it in hand

Feb 20th, 2015 - EAD card produced and mailed... now should be waiting to get it in hand...expecting it in a day or so.

Feb 24th, 2015 - EAD Card in hand with new married name!!!

issued means the visa was issued and you're now approved. You contact them or visit the site (depending on what your country has set up) for the courier tracking # on Monday.

Yes, that is exactly what we did. In our case, we contacted the DHL we had selected, provided my husbands name and they were able to provide the tracking number.

Congrats... you guys are almost done :-)

K1 - Filed March 2011

- Denied March 13, 2012

- Placed in AP March 14,2012

- Sent back to USCIS November 2012

- Expired March 2013

WASTED A YEAR FIGHTING THE DENIEL

MARRIED MARCH 15, 2013

1-130 Approved 3/3/2014 :-)

Finally made it home 3/18/2014

NOA2 => Interview: 64 days

AP: 33 days

Total: 258 days

AOS

I-485 NOA => GC: 333 days

No Interview

ROC

07/30/2017: Package Sent

08/01/2017: NOA

09/07/2017: Biometrics

12/04/2018: Approved! 490 days

What evidence did she end up submitting??

Thank you so much, OMG, we prepared so much from the so little...

1. Got affidavits from my colleague here at my work. She has seen me depressed in the last year at several stages and knows everything. I got a signed letter from her

2. We back tracked whats app conversation and as it was in hindi and English, I translated each line of the conversation in that time frame that showed that our relation was "strained". Four instances we had, one how she was so sad that my parents rejected her due to Caste - with her friend (got his affadvit), couple long conversations with me where it shows that I was conflicted, three and four were similar.

3. Showed actual plans she had made in new York city last year when she was planning to visit with her mum and not for me.

4. Affidavit from a couple of attendees at the engagement

5. About 500 plus pictures of us together with friends in the last one year (my trips to her)

6. Wrote a cover letter explaining every single detail in simple terms rather than just throwing evidence.

7. One letter from her parents to show that they are happy for us.

8. I cant remember the rest to be honest..... I think the cover letter may have helped as it genuinely conveyed the situation and our relationship....

Thank so much. Now I can finally be super happy. Thanks everyone.

Our Relationship

2013-04 - Fiance and I have first non-work related chat at work. The topic...Scotch!

2013-06 - We get better acquainted outside of work via Facebook.

2013-09-07- We're a couple!

2013-11-27- We meet in person for the first time! I travel to India and we spend 10 days together in Delhi.

2013-12 -2014-02- Sometime between December and February, we become engaged (positive now after in-person meeting luv.gif )

2014-02-18- I-129F mailed

2014-02-25- NOA1. Assigned to Texas Service Center.

2014-02-27- Alien registration number changed.

2014-08-12- UCSIS website updated.... RFE for more evidence of intent to marry (engagement photos, wedding announcements, deposits paid, etc). :wow:

2014-08-19- RFE response. Waiting to see what happens....

2014-09-08- I-129F APPROVED finally!!! :dance:

2014-09-12- Petition sent to NVC.

2014-09-17- 2nd trip to New Delhi

2014-12-09- Interview in New Delhi. PETITIONER ATTENDED THE INTERVIEW. Result- Approved!!!!

2015-03-20- POE Charlotte, NC

2015-03-25- Married!!!!!!!
