sorry it took me so long to respond back but I ended up getting a serious knock-me-out headache after court and had to lay down. They got up on the stand and lied thru their teeth..both the girl and the child service protection guy... they said they have everything on tape so they have set a circuit court date of february 22nd to bring forth any more evidence they may have against him. My grandma was the coolest..when it was over...she went up to the child service protection guy and asked if he was such and so from such and so a town..he said yeah and she introduced herself. Turns out they grew up together and knew each other very well. He asked what she was doing there and she said.."that is my son in law you are talking about and that little girl has lied to you all the way around...we know the truth here"! The guy turned beet red and quickly walked away without speaking another word......

Thanks guys for sending mojo our way, we definitely needed it.

hehe duct tape does cure all doesn't it!! sorry to hear about the fingers!!! I hope you get better soon!

Another morbid day on my floor at the hospital...

My problem patient is still in the ICU holding on, but it's looking worse and worse; his labs were getting better for a while and now they look terrible.

Another patient we admitted yesterday afternoon died this morning in the elevator on his way to the ultrasound lab (probably better, he had had a huge stroke, but still sad)

Then I found out that my patient I discharged last Thursday died on Saturday at his nursing home :crying:

I really need to break this chain of death that has attached itself to me. :(

I'm going to lose myself in 24 and a cup of tea, then go to bed. Have to get ready for another day of bringing out the dead :help:
