I think I'll go for a walk outside now. The summer sun's callin my name. I hear it now. I just can't stay inside all day. Gotta get out give me some of those rays!

Can you believe I know *all* the words by heart?:P

I'm just glad I am not only one that is going to have this song stuck in my head today!

Here's another one for ya :P :

Amal, sending some good wishes your way. Hope everything goes smoothly.

Mohammed just started his first day of training. I have been sitting here wrangling numbers since 6 am. Its DARN COLD OUT THERE! I hope this junk moves on through soon. Reminds me of my days in Nebraska. Yesterday I had a wee bit of a "meal preparation accident" (which is what happens when you let bouncy Egyptians in the kitchen to distract you) so we spent 2 hours in the intermediate care center making sure I didn't need stitches on the 2 fingers I attempted to lop off. A good soaking, a little dermabond, and a tetanus shot and I'm as good to go. Note for future: PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT YOUR CUTTING AND NOT THE HUBBY. Moh is so cool. I'm bleeding and freaking and he's wrapping my fingers in about 20 paper towels and duct tape. As the saying goes, there ain't nothing you cain't fix with duct tape!

today is a scary day for me. today i go into my client's office to discuss whether i keep my job or not. he wants to change things around to accomodate him better, but unrealistic for me. so today i decide whether to live in NY or go back to CA and do my visa process there! good thing its all happening now because my fiance sent my forms to me and I should get them any day now to finally send in the i-129f. wish me luck!

and good luck to you, amal. hope everyone has a good day.

Happy Monday Charles and ladies.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

Happy Monday.

I have a new office mate today so no more praying in my office when the time comes up. :(

I heard back from my old boss and she thanked me for my interest in the job and said she will have to compare what I want to the flextime/workfromhome regulations. We never had set regulations before like that so who knows. Whatever happens happens I guess but I really kind of thought she would say yes this morning. At least she didn't balk at the salary so that's a good thing. :)

Can you get sick from vaccinations? I've been sick all week, and it seems that every time I take the pill for typhoid the day after I am running a fever. On Saturday night I had a fever of 102 and felt liek I was going to die! Today I am all achy again and my throat is killing me! I tried to call the doc on Friday, but never recieved a call back. I hope this goes away soon because I am leaving in less than three weeks for Morocco and I don't want to be sick one day while I am there.

Have a good day everyone!
