Hello!

My fiancée and I sent off our I-129f package about half a month ago and we received and NOA1 after only a few days!

I know that it might be awhile until we get an NOA2 but I'd rather start preparing now.

He is coming to visit me in December, I will keep his boarding pass and we will obviously take lots of photos. But other than this what can I take as evidence?

We generally just call each other on FaceTime because the time difference is so bad, I'm 16.5 hours ahead of him :I when we both work all the time it's hard to sit down and have a decent Skype conversation. But we do occasionally. And we use iMessage. Should I just screen capture some messages to each other and the little time that we Skype? Will that be enough along with the visit?

Yep photos, boarding pass, any record of his debit/credit card transactions when he visits you and screenshots of any convos you do have! Good luck!

I would see what the other people in the Australia and New Zealand forum say:

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/146-australia-and-new-zealand/

Low-fraud embassies tend not to require tons of relationship evidence (London usually asks for none) unless there are other red flags in the application that suggest fraud or misrepresentation.

That said, if it makes the beneficiary feel better during the interview because they have something to show the interviewer, collect whatever you think is a representative sample of your relationship.

It is suggested to purposefully generate all kinds of evidences. Content is key, screen shots don't tell anything about what you are talking about. Emails can supplement that shortfall.

You are extremely unlikely to be asked for any proof of ongoing relationship at the interview. Boarding passes and photos are more than enough. You don't need to capture screen shots of conversations.

Thanks! :)

I'll just keep as much stuff as I can until the interview and fingers crossed it's enough!

I didn't think the Australian embassy would be too harsh about it, but you never know.

Depends on the country/Embassy. For some sending money may be a red flag.

Sydney didn't require any further evidence at the interview. I had it all with me, which I told them and the officer said "hopefully we won't need to get to that". I didn't need any of it, but good to come prepared! Tickets, photographs, skype conversations, letters..
