Ladies I'm trying my best to keep calm but every time I come to VJ my heart just shrinks when I see an approval and I quickly run to see if any of my applications have been approved and nothing. The lawyer keeps saying that my petition might be taking longer than usual to get approved because they are looking very closely at people from certain orgins. Should I be worried that my petition fell off the face of the earth? I mean if you look at my time line you will see that we are still wating for a NOA2 for both the I130 with NOA1 since June 15th and the I129F with NOA1 since July 17th. Is this normal for an NOA2? I mean we are going on 210 days and still nothing from our I-I30. When I call the USCIS service line to ask about my petitions they say that the I129F is still in normal processing times because they are barely processing applications with NOA1 of July 16. Thats so much ...... beacuse there are lots of people from this web site that have applived in oct and nov and they are already appoved.

I guess what I want to know is if your applications took as long to get an approval due to on the orgin of your husband or fiance? :crying:Is the time that Ihave been waiting for normal for NOA2 for both applications?

Hi there!

I'm sorry your petitions are taking long...

As doodle said, it'd be better for you to post in the South Asian forum, as Pakistan is not a part of ME/NA. Although there are not any active Pakistan related threads in the South Asia forum, so I think it's best you read through and ask here, in the Off Topic Islamabad thread... http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=24601

Their situations won't be exactly like yours because your SO is not actually in Pak, and also looking in the forum that covers the UK may be a good idea incase there are others in your similar situation, with an SO in England but who is from a country with longer checks than others.

Married since 9-18-04(All K1 visa & GC details in timeline.)
