Well that's always good advice, that.

One of our senior members posted RTFM the other day... He was counseling a newbie....

2005 - We met

2006 - Filed I-129F

2007 - K-1 issued, moved to US, completed AOS (a busy year, immigration-wise)

2009 - Conditions lifted

2010 - Will be naturalising. Buh-bye, USCIS! smile.png

03/20/07 Received email from Sydney that packet 3 should be mailed out tomorrow

03/26/07 Fiance received packet 3

4/26/07 Fiance medical appointment

5/01/07 New date of medical appointment

5/14/07 Fiance interview date!

VISA APPROVED!

6/8/07 My fiance arrives in America

7/14/07 Wedding day!

its meaning is somewhere on the lines of "lolwtfbbq"

that is IMO of course.

Hmmmmmmm let me see.... lolwtfbbq is used when someone is surprised, they will say this. It is used by mostly teens who have lack of grasping of maturity. You will rarely hear, nor see this used by an adult, due to the fact this is a word for kids.

Ahhhh!!! Thank you - I've been scratching my head about that one forever!! :lol:
The DH thing took me awhile...it's for Dear Husband.

I can't stand using either, so I end up just refering to him as homeboy, which probably sounds equally as silly.

LOL ahhhhhhhh thank you all this time I have been thinking that DH was short for department of home land security or something, nothing ever made sense I just got more confused. LMAO Thank you very much for the enlightment!

A story of my ignorance for all to laugh at.

I dated a guy once who's father had been in the Army and he still lived his daily life as though everyone around him was a soldier, and he was in charge. Anyways, this man frightened me, a lot. I consider myself a reasonably intelligent individual, and I'm usually not thrown by anyone, but this guy managed to do it.

I called one day and asked to talk to said guy, his father answered and said, "Is this Jackie!? Are you still coming over tonight? What's your ETA!?"

Embarrassingly enough, I froze. I'd heard ETA before, and if I hadn't been paralyzed with fear, I'm sure I could have answered.

Needless to say, Army men do not enjoy breaking down simple terms to 'civilians'.

In England until visa expired December 2006

We leave England for a stateside Christmas December 17, 2006

Karl goes back to the UK January 7, 2007

I make a scene at the airport January 7, 2007

I head back to the UK to wait it out with him February 9, 2007
