Wow! You hit that one out of the park!

You made me spit tea LOL

That young man became President and reduced spending to levels below what Reagan was ever able to muster. That's what happened to him.

I like pictures cause it looks like to me he spiked it higher than any President in recent History, and it's heading back don to Bush avg. I mean he was President at the height of this chart in 2011, right ?

And despite all that, federal spending is now lower than it was at ANY time during Reagan's administration. That's a fact.

So according to the Chart Bush had much lower spending and Obama took it higher than Reagan ever dreamed of. Fact.

It may be coming down, but he has piled up more debt than all other Preznit's combined

What President has the highest AVG..

As had Bush in his days. Reagan actually piled up twice as much debt as all his predecessors combined.

So you agree Obama piled up more debt than all predecessors combined and has the highest spending to GDP avg of any president ever.

Good

By the way

A. Bush's fault . can also be "conjure up any conservative in history that even remotely did anything similar to what is going on today. It makes it ok.

Make no mistake, last night's win does not mean We The People have given the GOP a blank check and a mandate to keep the country stalled. The GOP candidates ran - and won - on the very opposite - getting bills to pass, the economy to move forward and the contry back on track.

lol. Great example of meaningless twaddle. Allegory.

No, 100% of the republicans who won ran on repeal of Obamacare, and in general getting government OUT of our lives instead of passing ever more bills to control our lives. You can't actually NAME any kinds of new legislation, new departments, new programs republicans ran on because the general theme was that government is already doing too much.

Getting a lot of bills to pass is a pretty stupid way of measuring how well a government is doing. It is the straightforward and preposterous proposition that the more laws a country has, the better off the people are. Our country was founded on liberty and protection of individual rights first and foremost, not to fashion a government which could pass a lot of laws. The Bill of Rights is largely comprised of language prohibiting any laws whatsoever in large spheres of our lives.

eg. "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances..."

By your standard, this is very bad government and we should pass lots of laws on what we can believe, what we can say, what our papers can print, when and where we are allowed to meet, etc. It shows very little understanding that the constitution was more than anything else a document which kept power FROM government instead of granting it unlimited license to pass laws.

You have any other socialist opinion pieces in your back pocket you'd like to put forth?

It's simple math. Let me spell it out for you. Our debt is now over 100% of the entire economic output of the United States for 1 year. I'm not talking about the federal budget, I'm talking the entire economy. The debt is 17+ trillion dollars. The entire federal budget for 2014 is 3.9 trillion. In simple terms that would mean the govt. would have to spend zero dollars for 4+ years just to break even. Something has to give. Either increased taxes (harmful to the economy) or reduced govt. spending (also harmful to the economy, but not nearly as bad as tax increases IMO)

I'm not sure why you're such a big fan of govt. spending. They've shown over and over again that they are not responsible with other people's money.

Print more money. I'll take a refrigerator box full of $100's. One of those big Sub Zero side by side boxes.

And Obama, who run on passing the ACA, was elected twice. By your rationale the GOP should continue to do nothing as they have for the last couple of years, other than to attempt to repeal a law they can't repeal. No job creation, no energy policy, nothing else but the repeal of the ACA and tanning sessions for Boehner.

As someone else pointed out, you believe it's business as usual. Laughable, but understandable.

Just like they all do.

That's a dangerous meme I'm hearing with alarming frequency: "they all do it" so they're all morally equivalent. That's a logical fallacy, as going $5 over budget is a little different than going 7 trillion dollars over budget. The degree and scale of the lie is a matter of non-trivial importance .

Ugh. So you can't agree that getting a country 7 trillion dollars in debt is a more serious matter than getting a country $5 in debt.

W h a t e v e r .

Any lie told is wrong, especially by the President. And which administration got the country $5 in debt? Did you mean 5 trillion vs 7 trillion?
