The Republicans had control of congress for 6 years under Bush and look how great that turned out.

For whatever reason my state of Mass seems to work really well when we have a Republican Governor to offset the heavily Democratic house we have. We've had success under Bill Weld, Paul Cellucci and Mitt Romney and I hope it continues with Charlie Baker who was elected yesterday.
