Dear,

I'm awaiting ( :clock: ) my interview in Riyadh on 19th of this month, we are 3 me and my wife and one baby boy, my wife is the principle applicant, have some questions and I believe that I will find the useful info here as always:

1- If they ask about bank statement at the interview, is it requested from all, my wife also or if I take only mine enough (I can show 10K $ for each of us) in case they request it !!

2- If every thing goes fine and all the documents were enough (I hope so :huh2: ), then how much time the process usually take to get the passports back to us including the visa  !!

3- at the Travel.state.gov web site they mentioned that the visa expiry date may be less than 6 months in case the medical test expire before the 6 months, but since every body do the medical test prior to the interview (I did it before almost 1 month); does that mean every body get less than 6 months to travel ??

Thank you guys I really appreciate the efforts here by everybody specially Susie, I got all the help all the way from the beginning of my visa journey at this site (F)

Not sure how long Riyadh specifically takes but it is usually a few working days at most embassies.

You will be fine with the funds in your name. The specific things your wife alone must meet are eligible country and education.

And if you all did your medicals on the same day then yes you will probably all have the same visa expiry. How it is implemented seems to be somewhat embassy specific too...

Include all your assets in summery sheet like i did:

1. Banks statements for me & my wife

2. i had loan instalment so i had submitted them the balance for loan by requesting liability letter from the bank

3. Any investments like retirement plan

4. vehicle - purchase and sale amount

5. any receivables which can be documented like your gratuity from leaving your current job.
