Just one other question, how did you all become so knowledgeable with all the terms and the whole process? What were some things you did to become so well rounded on the topic?

Almost everyone on here reads visajourney like it's what they need to stay alive.

It's from going through the process ourselves, reading other people's stories and what they did and went through. That's how we know so much about the process because we have been there and witnessed others going through obstacles.

Just read lots of topics even if they don't apply to you or don't apply yet.

When you go visit don't forget to keep the ticket planes and take pictures with him and his family. Enjoy your time. Make sure to get all the paperwork you need from him ready so you can send the form when you are back and in a few months he will be here with you in everything goes well

If you don't research and follow cases that could be yours in the future you will most likely have problems with one thing or another.

It's like flunking a master thesis because you do not study.

Absorbing things you read like a sponge is important.

Experiencing it is the icing on the cake.

After that you help those coming after you.

When I went to visit Egypt to see my now husband, I wish I had known we were going to petition for the I 129F at the time. I didn't go prepared with certain papers that required original signatures. So, after I left Egypt and returned to the US, I had to have my fiance mail his paperwork with original signatures to me. They got stuck in New York for a while, and arrived about a month or two later than we wanted. Everything worked out for us, but if I'd armed myself with good information beforehand, I'd have saved a lot of time. The guides above are great, and they have really good information. So, I'd make sure you review those before your trip to Egypt. Best wishes!
