Awesome! same as me, that's a good day ;)

I filled DS260, I see that @kels sent all the documents, mine are ready! Just waiting for it to be available! hope it goes fast!

It is a good day!

I have everything ready to send in...some friends were just visiting here in Honduras so I sent the package back with them to send to my mom...she'll send it to NVC. But of course there's a huge snow storm in New England and my friends flight was cancelled from Miami to Boston and they wont get there til at least Wednesday. BUT...at least it's all set to go! :)

I got several emails, and they misspelled my husbands name, my zip code and city.... is two different ways for me and my husband.. on my letter they wrote the city wrong by 1 letter, and on my husbands one they have the zip code wrong and wrote the city with 3 mistakes in it :/

wow ! French is the same alphabet, come on NVC!

Hey Kels,

So I got my case number in an email on Monday and I just paid my AOS fee. The IV fee has not been invoiced yet and I am guessing that should take like 2-3 weeks. Can we send the IV and AOS packages before paying the IV fees?

Yes just send the AOS barcode in with both packages. Good luck! I am going to call the end of the week to see if they can review my DS-261 so I can pay IV.

Hi guys,

I did not know that you can send the AOS and IV packages before paying the IV fees. I thought it all has to be within order?

I am waiting for my AOS status to change to "Paid". Once it says "Paid" I will send everything altogether then.

P.s. I am trying to expedite my father's case due to medical reasons. I sent an e-mail to NVC and Senator explaining the situation, but am not sure what can be done on their side as they still need to get documents from me. So whatever I can do on my side to expedite things will help..

and my question is, is it normal that I can't pay for anything yet? both AOS and IV show the 'pay now' link, and if I click on them it brings me back to main page and wants me to log in again....

got anything like that?

Think you are at the wrong place. Try this link: https://ceac.state.gov/CTRAC/Invoice/signon.aspx

@kels, did you follow any instructions before sending your AOS documents? I'm so afraid I forget something...

I read the form instructions along with the wiki's on this site. Saylin has an NVC one that is very helpful. Try that!

I sent them together. I hadn't paid the IV invoice yet so I used the AOS barcode for both AOS & IV pacakges.

You think it's ok if you didn't put the IV barcode? I didn't read anything about that... in the wiki they says to send them together.

It is up to you. I know that is not how it states on NVC website or wiki but many others on this forum have done this and NVC reps have said that is fine.

Don't take my word for it though if you want to give NVC a call they can let you know what they prefer. I am just eager to get my 60 days clock going, away from my husband, and willing to take the "risk" to shave off a week or so.

Try heading over to the NVC filer thread so you can get more info.
