Yeah RKD, I wouldn't be worried, seems like the documents you sent are ok.. If not you'll know soon. Like the others said, you can call then just to make sure all is fine. Good luck on the waiting...

How do you know if you got a RFE? Should I be calling TSC? I check the status daily...hasn't been updated since my PD

If you ever want to test your patience just call the NVC...I am not a fan of being on hold for an hour!

Anyway...still no case number, but they did say it arrived to the NVC December 18...I'll try again the end of the week or next week I suppose

We have the same date. case arrived on Dec 18. Still no case number too. I'm calling twice a week now.

My case was received on 12/17 and today was told that I'd probably get a case number on Friday, and in another thread someone with a 12/15 case received got their number today. You should be able to more or less calculate from there when you'll get yours. Either way, I'm going to call tomorrow later in the day on the off chance that things go a bit quicker. Good luck to everyone!

Are we required to call them, won't they send out a letter? I have no desire to call. I mean from NVC and the case #.

Married 2001, conditional resident 2003, permanent resident 2005.Left U.S 2012, abandoned green card 2013.Applied I-130 Nov 2014, approved Dec 2014. DS260 13th Apr 2015. Docs sent 27 Apr. Scan date May 1. Case complete June 4!Interview July 14th, rescheduled to Oct 20th.  Applied for N400 on November 6th, 2018. I'm the immigrant :)

Thanks for your response Cherry. I am one of the few who needs this to take its sweet little time due to our biz (need the numbers to look better before putting up for sale), but if I don't see anything after 50 days, I probably will hunt it down.

I received a welcome letter the day after our case # was assigned. I think it really depends. If you aren't in a rush I would do like you said and wait past the 42 days if you haven't heard anything give a call. Good luck with selling the business!
