So I am a little concern here ...any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have 2 petition ...CR -1 and CR- 2 both approved same time..... NOA 2 for CR- 1 hard copy was rec'd in mail and not the hard copy for CR-2.

On the website for case status says that NOA 2 was mailed out October 10 and October 20 the approved petition was shipped to NVC and still no NOA 2 in mail for CR-2.

The NOA 2 for the CR-1 clearly states if there is another petition that was filed separately you will rec'd a separate notice.

Where should I call and what number can I call to find out about the NOA- 2 for the CR-2 ??

Go to the link below, since you didn't receive the NOA2. I don't think that this would affect the case being received by the NVC though.

That's odd, I keep checking it and it shows up for me. It's not written as I-130, it's written I130, it's the fifth choice.

See that's the thing when I click on the link I have 4 option only ... I131 N400 N565 and N600 .

There is no I130

OH K ...yes ...thank you .

I see the options now .....thank u

So we did the inquiry an got an email yesterday......stating that we should file out form I 824-application for action on an approved petition along with the correct fees

I check the form and fees online ...the fee is 405.00...this is just crazy

Is there any other option that I can go though????? I am assuming they never mailed it out because I cant for-see we rec'd the CR-1 and not the CR-2.

$405? That's absurd! You know I did read another thread regarding someone having lost their NOA2 and I believe someone told them the same thing. I would assume that if they never mailed it out or it got lost in the mail that they shouldn't charge you for it, but $405 is overkill regardless.

You should call the number for customer service on the notice you do have and see what they say. Unfortunately, I'm not aware of what to do in this kind of circumstance. What I do know is that the notice itself isn't required to proceed to the NVC. Therefore, if the case is approved already and makes it to the NVC, you should be fine.
