As others said in your previous topic, they have 30 days to send you the NOA1. Please relax, and unlock caps. wink.gif

Hello everyone! I'm a bit worried too. My fiance sent the packet last Oct 6, 2014 via USPS and according to the USPS website it has been delivered Oct 10, 2014. He sent it to the Dallas, TX address as instructed on the USCIS website. He used money order and according to him it has been cleared the following day when he checked his bank account. But until now, he hasn't received any notification through email or text message and no NOA1 yet from the mail. Help!

I believe after 30 days you can phone and see what's going on.

I'm sure more seasoned VJ users will be better equipped to answer your query though!

Thanks! I'm just a bit worried. We followed all the instructions but apparently no notification yet even thru a text or email. My fiance called USCIS and he was asked about a receipt number which we don't have yet since it will be reflected on NOA1 which he hasn't received yet. He was advised to wait for 30 days. Is it true?

My understanding is that you need to wait 30 days from when you believe they have received you i-129f petition to call and enquire. Good luck and let us know how it works out!

Thank you!!! I will definitely tell him to call them after 30 days if no noa1 yet. Btw, he used money order. Could it be one of the reasons of delay?

I can tell you that we paid with a money order and we have gotten texts and emails every time there has been an update on our case. We received an email and text simultaneously telling us our case had been received. This indicated our receipt number. We received this within 4 days of the packet being delivered at the Texas lockbox. We then received another text and email telling us our Alien Registraion Number had been changed 2 days afteer the first email/text.
