I am so exhausted. Thank you to all her left me nice messages last week, though I couldn't bring myself to respond, they meant a lot.

My husband spoke to 3 supervisors last week who all said that the evidence isn't needed because our joint sponsor has been approved but that they'd like to verify that we have $500 in the bank because I stupidly wrote it. They have refused to let us take it to the embassy. Obviously the amount has changed since then so they've asked us for a letter telling them to delete the $500 from the record BUT it will take 60 days to review the letter. How can they seriously admit they don't need it but want to take 60 days to see it anyways?! My husband is furious with them. This seems like something that could be fixed over the phone.

Of course, our senator is busy with the election (i'm guessing) but i'm hopeful they will help work something out on Wednesday. I wouldn't mind if this was a game changing mistake but it's too much to handle, as i'm sure you all know, when it's a problem that isn't even necessary to complete our case.

My MP has contacted the Embassy on my behalf and they have indicated to him that it's fine to apply for another expedite, though I doubt they'll accept it. I can't believe I have ruined everything for my daughter and husband and will now jeopardise my PhD (which pays my salary) for stupidly being too honest

Anyways, I don't know how much I will be around but i'm checking in this week to see Samreen get a CASE COMPLETE as well as msc. Much love to all!

Firstly, submit the letter deleting the account, then get back on the phone and ask for a supervisor review.

Then, request an expedite again. But make sure to include pdf 'proof' of the need for the expedite... ie, get a letter/evidence that your PhD work would be compromised, heck get anything your dept can document. I included at least four different documents with my expedite that backed up my request.

So - I got my I-130 approved on the 3rd of last month, called this morning and they still have not gotten my case.

The kind NVC guy, told me just go ahead and DHL the approval letter and I can be in the system by the end of this week.

Why didnt they tell me that on week 3, unreal!!!! So anyone waiting - theres a "go around" the approval letter wait there for ya.

Congratulations on your approval, but I've never heard of the letter being sent to NVC I would call again, sound really odd to me. Good luck.

Oh sweet heart, I'm so sorry your so tired and these crack pots at NVC are just a bunch of airheads. Not sure if they are just plain STUPID or they do these things on purpose to amuse themselves! I'm praying all turns out well, wish I could go there and kick them in the A$$ with steel tipped boots! Now don't make me go over there hehehee now come on your so close and we all have to wait for the interview your almost done so cheer up girl all is well. They just have a spot for you. Getting your CC is one of the hardest steps, many would love to be waiting for an interview date.
